If you were babysitting, what would you like to be left for your dinner?

Is soup and nice bread ok, or too mean?
Don't want to give the person any actual "cooking" to do, but bought ready meals are grim.

I always leave pizza and copious chocolate

deepdarkwood · 16/02/2011 12:43

Teenage me, or now me? Teenage me - definately chocolate & pizza. Now me - would nearly always eat before sitting, so snacks and wine.
I love soup, but probably wouldn't leave soup - bit too virtuous, iykwim.

im often left a nice pizza & help self to salad

but would be very happy with a yummy soup and bread

or some filled pasta and a nice fresh sauce

AmazingBouncingFerret · 16/02/2011 14:05

Pizza definitely, easy to shove in the oven and then the mouth.

coldtits · 16/02/2011 14:06

French stick, nice cheeses, and some posh crisps.

PaulaMummyKnowsBest · 16/02/2011 19:00

fresh pasta and salad?

crystalglasses · 16/02/2011 19:03

fish and chips left warming in the oven followed by Ben and Jerrys, and some cake or biscuits for later if it's going to be a long night

pointydog · 16/02/2011 19:14

I have never had dinner left for me, I'd see to my own.

If it's an early start, then I agree with coldtits's suggestions.

crystalglasses · 16/02/2011 19:47

Actually mine was a fantasy as I've never been left anything but a piece of cake

TrillianAstra · 16/02/2011 19:56

Takeaway menu and cash?

SickOnMyShoulder · 16/02/2011 20:58

We leave either pizza or pasta with homemade sauce, and a cake or biscuits on the side for later
