Can I do a chocolate fountain without putting oil in it?

Ive never used it before, don't fancy oily choc Confused

I was disgusted with the amount of oil that needed to be added. I put half in. It wouldn't flow like it is meant to. It kept getting stuck on the frame. The next time I put the amount suggested and it worked. It didn't taste oily.

Sorry, no you can't. The oil stops the chocolate from becoming too hard to flow.

Lakeland used to do special chocolate intended for foutains, worth checking if they still so.

I used that in the past and it didn't taste oily

oh yuck. you've managed to put me off chocolate fountains for life! Smile. Always knew they were inherently wrong and this proves it!
