Something stew-y/one-pot-ish with a leg of lamb

Have a leg of lamb in the freezer. I'd like to cook something with it that I can then re-freeze for after DC2 is born... So I'm thinking of some kind of braise I can do with it on the bone, such that when it is done, the meat falls off the bone & I can portion it up & freeze. Hope that makes sense.

Any suggestions?

stud with garlic and rosemary, stick in large pot with chopped onion, carrot, whatever yo uhave lurking at back of fridge. add bottle of red wine, and carton/ bottle passatta.

low oven 3-4 hours, take lid off for last hour to thicken sauce - or do all day in slow cooker - use much less wine.
