Mushrooms - how can I disguise them/use them up?

Got a box of mushrooms in our veg box and someone in our house me doesn't like them much. Can't stand them big - too sluggy and slimey - but don't mind their meaty flavour too much (we are vegetarian so it's a nice addition).

Couldn't do anything with whole mushrooms, and the thought of mushroom soup makes me gag.

What could I use them for??

earrings?

Chop them really, really finely and fry with some onion until nicely browned (not slimey then) then use in a veggie shepherds pie or somesuch?

I liquidise them, and make a tomato and red pepper based pasta sauce, and add them to that. If you add too many though, it turns the sauces a murky brown colour!

Ooh, thanks - I'm going to make both those suggestions. Yum bleugh, delicious mushrooms!

I put them in the food processor, chop them up really small and shove them in casseroles and all sorts. The children don't notice.
