Jools favourite stew, I have no fresh basil nor rosemary, can I use lemon thyme and merian instead?

I was thinking of just using dried basil in the recipe, and for the topping after the caserolle has finnished cooking, shredded lemon skin, garlic, dried rosemary and some fresh merian (which is quite mild). Would this work?
