Creme Fraiche instead of Cream?

I make a nice white wine sauce & add double cream at the end to make it really special. I've a big tub of creme fraiche that'll go to waste if I don't use it soon. Was thinking of doing sauce for dinner & wondered if I could use it instead of cream. Would it taste too tart?

I would - it does make it slightly tarter but I prefer it anyway

No, I always use cream fraiche instead of cream now (I think it tastes better tbh - not so 'heavy') I like to kid myself that it's slightly lees bad for me

it would taste better probably - c fraiche also less likely to curdle
