Food sticking to sides of slow cooker.

Does anyone else have this problem? My slow cooker is less than a year old and used frequently, maybe once a week.

Even when I make things with lots of fluid, like soup, there are a few patches where things stick. I've tried giving the dish a wipe with oil before I start cooking but to no avail.

Anyone any ideas on how I can make it non-stick again?

TIA.

Is it a pottery dish? I sometimes have a little sticking, but it's minor, and I've never really thought much about it.

Is it a slow cooker with more than one temperature? Maybe try cooking on low, see if that cures it?
