I made a chicken dish for DD friday lunchtime and put what I didn't use in the fridge. Will it be okay to use that tomorrow lunchtime (ie it will be 48 hours old)?

It's chicken, onion, carrots and sweet potato.

TIA

sorry! and I haven't even had my glass of wine yet!! I made it thursday I should have said.
Some of the baby/children recipe books quote 48 hours in a fridge but some only say 24hours (and others of course dont say anything at all

I keep it for two to three days.

tip from chef dh - don't store anything in fridges in metal cans - transfer them to plastic containers with lids as they keep a few days longer.
