Hi,

I am doing a function for around 100 people and I need to provide food which will be served at their tables.Shock I don't know how much to budget per person and I need some ideas on what to serve.

I am real need of help, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

The other thing to consider is whether there are any community groups/social enterprises who could provide the food for you? We've got a local international women's group who do great buffets at a really reasonable price

Thats a good idea...I'll look into it but we are a really small village out in the middle of nowhere!

Pasta is cheap. Maybe a tomato based pasta bake and a cheesy bake with salad and garlic bread?

Couscous is also a good one as only needs to be soaked in boiling water for a few min so wouldn't need hob or oven space. I normally serve it with a chicken tagine

Pudding wise, cheesecake also goes down well, maybe trifle?
