Does anyone have a nice meat & potato pie recipe they'd share with me, please?

DP asked if I'd make one for Friday night, when MIL has dd1 as he fancies pie & peas

this is what i do

finely dice one onion and 1 carrot and soften in a pan

add about 400d of cubed beef and a tbsp of plain flour, give it a stir

add a pint of beef stock and bring to the boil

simmer for a good hour then add cubed potatoes and simmer for another hour

using a draining spoon remove meat and potatoes and put in a pie dish, top up remaining gravy in pan with some stock and let that simmer to make yummy gravy

pop pie in over for 40 mins

also as a cheat ive been known to use m&s tinned stewed steak with cooked pot's mixed in

As above but top the pie with grated cheese or a pkt of plain smashed up crisps. Yummy

Tin of corned beef, mashed potato, cooked onion and an oxo cube. Mix it all up, then put it into some ready made puff pastry and there's your pie(s).
