Help used too many chillies in Jamie's 'joules' pregnant pasta'!

I stupidly misread the recipe got this pasta sauce. It said 1-2 chillies, I added 2, seeds and all and it's way to hot.

Does anyone have any suggestions as yogis to cool it down?

Sorry 'for' not 'got'.

Gah! 'to how to' not yogis! Must learn to use tiny keyboard, and use preview!

I did this with a similar recipe the other day - first off, it might not taste quite so hot once it's mixed with the pasta. I was convinced mine was inedible but after a little tinkering and then when eaten with pasta & parmesan, it was great.

I picked out some of the extra bits of chilli (not as faffy as it sounds, only took a minute or so) and then added a little single cream (creme fraiche or greek yoghurt would also work), a little more tinned tomatoes and a little sugar.

He does like his chilli, doesn't he.

I don't know what you can do.

I only put in one deseeded chilli. I know the dds' limits.

Thanks all. I chopped the chillies really small so I can't pick any out!

I have added some sugar, and have some creme fraiche on standby, am out of tinned tomatoes so can't add any more.

I hope you are right and it tastes a little less vicious once mixed with pasta. Luckily DH takes pride in his spicy food eating ability so maybe he will be able to eat it!

Thanks again.
