Sad git that I am, I have just done a 'stock take' or my cupboards and freezer and now I need to plan the weeks meals.

I like the BBC good food website. Don't know if it's the one you mean but you can enter the ingredients that you have into a search. Recipes generally pretty good.

there's an iphone/ipad ap called epicurious that does this. maybe they have a site?
