Can you give me some pointers for cooking a big joint of venison in the slow cooker? I have a big leg joint given to me by a friend, I am defrosting and want to slow cook tomorrow....I would quite like to cook it as a joint? Would that work? If it would, what do i put with/on it? Or should I chop off all the meat and do a stew of some sort?
Please help me, I am a bit crap at cooking without recipes..........
