Pampered chef - what should i buy?

I don't normally go in for these party things, but i'm trying to be more sociable, and woman at post-natal is having one, so i'm going. I went to PC party once before, it struck me as a load of over-priced tosh.

I'm on a serious budget right now (maternity leave so half pay), so is there anything you've bought that is really good? I'd prefer something a bit cheaper, but guess if its really good and def worth it it might be ok.... please help! I know i'll get guilt-tripped into getting something....

I've got the measure all cup and really like it, use it lots, was £10 but I think it was worth it.

DW bought a big jug that has a flexible lid - thta gets used quite a bit. The thing we use most is a cookie scoop - not sure if that is what it's sold as but its the perfect size. Small scoop that you squeeze together and it springs and scoops out your mix - keeps the cookies to a regular size.

LacksDaisys lol at your wooden dibber thing, my Pamp Chef calls it a wooden dobber thing so we all do now

I have booked a party for end of this month and have looked for this microwave veg steamer thingy and i can't find it in the new catalogue - if anyone has this years catologue can you PM me the page number cos i must be blind if it is in there!!

Everyone seems to love the bamboo spoons so may get those but nothing else jumps out to me really well apart from the veg steamer that i can't find.

I do have a kiddie safety knife but it's not as good as all that as my DD age 6 has to really carve at carrots to cut them and so gives up to let me carry on.

Am I looking at the right website? I can't find any of these items?
