What's good at Lidl?

So, I am a Waitrose/Ocado shopper, also topping up at local shops, BUT food seems to be getting more expensive and I thought I need to start getting at least some of the basics somewhere else, particularly with family staying over Christmas, etc. There is a Lidl close by, so I thought I should give it a go.

We don't eat a lot of meat, but the meat that we do eat I like to have free range/organic, so I will continue to get those from Waitrose (local butcher is great but just as expensive or more than Waitrose). But there must be some stuff that I can get at Lidl?

What's good at Lidl - share with me please !!

(I think one of my problems is that I try to buy natural food, not ready made, fairly healthy, and it seems that kind of food is the most expensive, which is crazy...)

Jars of curry sauce
Strawberry Jam
Fake weetabix ( yes really!)
Hand cream ( as good as the norweigan one!)
Fresh chickens are really good.
Eggs
Olive oil
Pasta / spagetti

Lots of things

Washing up liquid and detergent is shite imo. Giant bottles of bleach great though. Cold meats, in fact think all the meat is good quality. Cheeses, biscuits, nice cheap wine, youghurt....almost everythin. Tinned goods really cheap too:)

Oh - would avoid the loo roll, think it's expensive compared to tesco etc., and it;s something ridiclous like 5 ply; fecks septic tanks up.

The organic tomato ketchup is lovely.

the recycled loo roll is cheaper and thinner, bustle Grin

Tampons, knicker liners, liquid detergent, copies of mars such as snickers etc, wine, cheese, belgian truffles - sadly the ones in france have after eights, boxes of chocolate neapolitans. Fruit and veg, greek snacks in fridge - I love the chilies stuffed with feta type cheese. Crisps, nuts, shampoo.
