Frozen sausages been out of the freezer since last night, still ok to use?

Got the sausages out the freezer to defrost over night, meant to put the in the fridge today but i forgot.
Will they still be ok to eat?

I would definately eat them, just make sure you cook them really well.

Hmm they have a sort of cider/appley smell to them which they don't normally.
