I'm uncharacteristically cleaning out the kitchen cupboard 
i dont like throwing anything out
we have old rooting onions, garlic, ginger and potatos in the back- not too soft or blue so i think will hold onto and stew these- is that safe or will i poison the family?
Fair bit of out of date herbs and spices- most still smell of the spice so will hold onto these.
We seem to have random baggies of rice, not sure how old- i think i will bin- ?rice weevils

Also small amounts of out of date dried pasta- some by at least 2 years
bin or keep?
