I'm uncharacteristically cleaning out the kitchen cupboard Smile
i dont like throwing anything out
we have old rooting onions, garlic, ginger and potatos in the back- not too soft or blue so i think will hold onto and stew these- is that safe or will i poison the family?

Fair bit of out of date herbs and spices- most still smell of the spice so will hold onto these.

We seem to have random baggies of rice, not sure how old- i think i will bin- ?rice weevils
Hmm

Also small amounts of out of date dried pasta- some by at least 2 years Blush bin or keep?

Weevils are not toxic, and if they were going to be in there they'd have hatched and you'd see them by now. I'd keep the rice - the pasta doesn't sound worth keeping.
