Hi, I'm trying to get a bit healthier and have never really liked breakfast. I struggle for ideas as I don't like cerial, hate yoghurts, and am not keen on fruit! I know I could have toast or crumpets, but looking for more ideas/suggestions if anybody has any? Thanks Smile

If I have bread for breakfast I end up getting the shakes later from the crash in my blood-sugar levels. I need protein. Usually I have two eggs with spinach and parmesan. It takes precisely 2 mins in the microwave and is completely delicious.

tthereistheball - do you scramble the eggs?

In this household it is anything and everything - today it was toast for me and ds while dh had nothing. Yesterday dh had leftover stew (normal where he is from) and we had bagels with cream cheese and ham.

Coffee and fags Blush

If I'm at home, I usually have leftovers from last night's dinner for elevenses then don't eat lunch.

now it is getting colder, porridge (those sachets which mixed with milk can be microwaved, so I can get it ready whilst dd is getting dressed). In weekends, toast with boiled egg or croissant or pain au chocolat that type of stuff. During warmer weather toast with jam or cheese.

Dalek - no, I defrost some spinach in a bowl (one minute) then crack two eggs on top of it and microwave for another minute plus a few more seconds if necessary. Then I scatter on Parmesan and eat.

Tomorrow I'm having leftovers from tonight - savoy cabbage, butternut squash and chorizo hash, with a fried egg on top.
