Last NY Eve, I did loads of tapas for the first hour (ish) whilst two giant lasagnes cooked in the oven (homemade the day before) which were then served with big yummy salad salad and crusty bread.
It worked really well, because the bulk of the prep was in advance and it was really delicious but (more of less) the same guests are coming this year, so I need to branch out slightly.
Any ideas?
(And, yes, I know it's only November. I am thinking ahead.)
