Thought id share my meal plan for teh coming week and hope that some of you wills hare yours (need inspiration for next week!)

Friday - Chicken Korma (base sauce already made & frozen)

Sat - Lunch - Spicy butternut squash soup & crsuty bread
dinner - homemade healthy donner kebabs & salad

Sun - lunch - lentil & bacon soup & croutons
dinner - roast chicken, potatoes, braised red cabbe & yorskshire puddings

Mon - Chicken maryland traybake

Tues - Pork chops in hoemmade BBQ sauce, corn cobs & mash

Wed - Ham & Mushroom tagliatelle

Thurs - Sweet potato & sausage stew

These all look brilliant, I've got a few things I want to try off this thread thank you! Grin

Ours for this week:

Sunday:
Roast pork, roasties, veg
chocolate sponge and custard

Monday:
Pork balti and garlic spinach, rice
Baked bananas with choc centres

Tuesday:
Italian red lentils and conchiglie pasta, steamed greens
Baked apples with cinnamon and raisins, yoghurt

Wednesday:
Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, gravy
Fruit salad and yoghurt

Thursday:
Chicken and veggie soup with chickpeas and morrocan spices, pittas and hummus
Probably will be making m&ms cookies for later

Friday:
Baked potatoes, tuna and sweetcorn mayonaisse, salad
Baked plums with vanilla sugar,cream

Saturday:
Homemade pizzas, salad or baked beans depends how we feel
Ice cream sundays Wink

Quite simple stuff as I've been ill and not up to big cooking sessions. Can't wait to try some new stuff though and my DDs are becoming way more adventurous these days which helps!

Wow Smash09, you have great desert ideas too! Could you share the recipe for the Chicken and veggie soup with chickpeas and morrocan spices, pittas and hummus please?

This is what we have:

Sunday:
Fish [usually rainbow trout, salmon or a type of white fish] with new potatoes and a rocket and spinach salad with road pumpkin or sweet potatoe. Sometimes I might do quinoa with peas instead of potatoes and salad

Monday:
Home made pesto with sundried tomatoes, stuffed green olives and gluten and wheat free pasta spirals

Tuesday:
Chicken salad

Wednesday:
Sweet 'jacket' potatoes with tuna

Thursday:
Take-away night [either Vietamese or pizza]

Friday:
Roast chicken or,
Thai vegetarian rice noodle soup with pak choy and tofu or,
Organic beef steak with new potatoes and salad or,
Chicken pilaf using brown rice

Saturday:
See Friday
