any idea where to find vintage pressure cooker spares?

My mum has a pressure cooker from the 1950's, which she uses a lot (for stocks, jam etc). I have been googling without success to find a replacement rubber seal/gasket, but drawn a blank. Hoping someone might have an idea of where to try next?

Is the manufacturer still in business? Could be worth contacting them. Sometimes they can put you in touch with the supplier of the spare parts, who could still be producing them.

That's an idea. The label says National Presto, but when I searched, I only got USA results, but the lid is marked 'Made in England'.

Would it be worth trying 'prestige' or 'eastham pyramid'. Both were/are manufacturers of aluminium pans. Possibly someone like David Mellor might be able to give you an idea. Or try your local catering college.
