We spend too much roughly £80.
I say too much cos its 2 adults and 1 child and a baby and half of what goes in the fridge gets forgotten about and binned.
I blame it on the "buy one get one free" offers, why do i fall for them?
anyway im on a mission to see if i can knock a few quid off my weekly shop and put the rest towards something else

We aim to spend £75 a week. Sounds high but it includes disposable nappies, cleaning products, cat food (Whiskas no less) and around £65-ish on wine and beer. Currently pregnant so our booze budget has been slashed to virtually nil (made DH give up the beer with me). That said, our budget could be much cheaper and am currently trying to reduce it to £60/week by introducing at least 2 vegetarian meals a week. We don't buy ready meals and cook from scratch, so I think really we just buy too many 'treats' (eg freezer full of garlic bread) and I find quite often we still have things in the freezer I simply haven't used because we fancied something else. However, this post has inspired me, I WILL reduce our budget!
