We had a huge kebab for tea last night. KFC is on it's way for tonight. Greedy pigs eh? Not sure what the plan is for the weekend yet. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

never ever ever I hate them with a passion - overpriced and crap would rather eat out or go to 24 hours tescos and get something quick to heat and eat...

CountessDracula · 09/09/2005 22:56

mancmum you obv have crap takeaways where you live then. I would rather eat anything from one of our local takeaways than a chilled tesco meal

nikkie · 09/09/2005 22:58

Our Italian is £3.50 for pizza/pasta and they are proper ones, handmade bases (chef who used to work in restauruant(sorry can't spell tonight!), really good value-sometimes they are so big they don't fit i the box properly.

CountessDracula · 09/09/2005 23:00

nikkie surely they still work in a restaurant albeit a take-away one?

stitch · 09/09/2005 23:01

dont anymore. wish we did, but soooo expensive. id rather fork out for a proper meal in a restaurant than pay for a takeaway.
mind you, dont really eat out either.

nikkie · 09/09/2005 23:11

Cd- yeah but so much cheaper!
(and easier )for us!

We often have Indian or Chinese on a Saturday night. Fish and chips maybe once every 2 months.

Skribble · 09/09/2005 23:15

Too often the guy at the Indian knows my favourites and gives us free popadums. I get a free coke while I,m waiting if I look harased .
I had chicken pakora, nanbread and an extra sauce for dipping whil I waited on DS finishing at cubs last night .

spidermama · 09/09/2005 23:16

One a fortnight when we're flush. None ever when we're poor.

jenk1 · 10/09/2005 09:42

too many sometimes twice a week, not now though as i have joined slimming world.
DH would have kebab and chips every night if he could, problem is the town where we live is in the guiness book of records for most takeaways per square mile!

foxinsocks · 10/09/2005 09:51

when I worked out how much we were spending on take aways, we stopped and now only get one about once a month but when I was working, we got them a lot more because I was often too tired to cook at night (and suffering dh's food was something not worth thinking about!)

Now a M&S food has kindly opened up about 2 minutes walk from me so when I'm too lazy to cook, I nip down and get one of their curries. Hmmmmmmm

None, I've been on a diet for a year!
