I put in about 1 and a half and a smidgen of cornfour as it didn't seem enough (am making stew)
thank you

Hijacking my own thread - the stew is to be eaten tomorrow night, do I cook it entirely today then reheat? And if it gets a bit dry can I add more guinness when reheating? (it's been & guinness). thanks

Yes cook it completely today. It will be even nicer tomorrow.

I would add more stock rather than Guinness when reheating. Guinness has a very strong flavour which can be overpowering unless it is cooked out over a long period.
