How do I make a nice easy pudding, preferably warm, with tins of summer fruits (donated by kind neighbour!)?

eve's pudding:
Put fruiy at bottom of a dish and put 1 egg sponge over top; cook in medium oven

( 1 egg mix = 2oz s/r flour with 1 tsp of baking powder sieved in bowl, 2 oz sugar, 2 oz butter and 1 egg put all ingrediants into bowl and mix well)

This is my pudding that i give to unexpected guests.

Oh and depending on the fruit i sometimes put a little brown over before the sponge mix

Crumble.

Mix together 4-6oz (depending on how big you want it) butter and the same amount of flour until it looks like breadcrumbs. Add a big spoonful of caster sugar and (my preference) half-a-teaspoon of nutmeg.

Put this as a deep (about 2cm) layer over the fruits and bake in oven at 180/gas 5 for about 20 minutes or until slightly browned on top.
