does anyone have the Jamie Oliver recipe for meatballs?

I found a copy on the internet but the sauce doesn't seem the same as when I made it following the recipe. I don't have the book any more, but it must have been one of his early ones...

If anyone has it on their shelf and can take a peek for me, I'd love to know what herbs he puts in it,

Many thanks!

I don't sorry but couldn't help Grin in the context of the photo of his new son. In fact I thought was going to be a spoof thread!

Was it Jamie's COOK book - there is a recipe for ragu with mini meatballs. Is that the one?

I'll post it if it is

Is it the one in his first book? The sauce with red wine vinegar in it? I make it all the time.its a clove of garlic, the a small dried red chilli, 2tsp oregano and 3 x 400g tomatoes. Bring to boil, simmer for an hour. Then add 1 tbsp red wine vinegar and fresh basil or marjoram and season. Hope this helps!

Let me know if you need to know what goes in the meatbalss!

Many thanks! It was the one with mozzarella and parmesan in the sauce. I kind of made it up and it was delicious!
