Have a jar of cherries in sirop- what can I do with them?

They aren't very sweet, a bit acidic.

I'm thinking some sort of cherries buns? Haven't got the forms, could do a loaf.

Or anything else, please!Smile

Thicken some of the juice with either arrowroot or cornflour, and sweeten if required. Use as filling for pancakes, with ice cream. [licking lips emoticon]

Put into a chocolate trifle (had a sainsburys recipe years ago using chocolate muffins, cherry jam and chocolate custard with those cherries).

Make a blackforest gâteau

Make pancakes, fold into triangles, put back onto hob, cherries into pan, throw sone kirsch over the top and set fire to the lot.
