probably not if it's just a slice in a Quarter Pounder :o

collision · 25/08/2010 17:54

Depends how many you eat!

They are free on Weightwatchers.

At least a couple of big ones a day
I am not one for cornichons or whatever they are called

With or without kebab?

TrillianAstra · 25/08/2010 18:57

5 a day is pretty much made up anyway, so I'll say yes, if you eat a sufficient volume.

You'll smell though.

mrsruffallo · 25/08/2010 21:06

Without kebab. Kebabs in this house are eaten with red cabbage and chilli sauce ONLY

5 a day does seem pretty random . I guess an handful of chopped gherkin would do it then?

I always have a slice of lemon in my G&T,

midnightexpress · 25/08/2010 21:09

Well if things like yoghurt count then i don't see why gherkins shouldn't.

midnightexpress · 25/08/2010 21:10

I count chocolate (made from beans, which must be a vegetable, right?)

TrillianAstra · 25/08/2010 21:20

Yoghurt? How is yoghurt a fruit or vegetable?

midnightexpress · 25/08/2010 21:23

you know, like strawberry yoghurt.

mrsruffallo · 25/08/2010 21:31

Lentils count as one of your 5 a day too

OP posts:
mrsruffallo · 25/08/2010 21:32

There would have to be a lot of strawberries in that yoghurt though shurely?

I always count chocolate orange as one of my five a day so I think a gherkin or two is definitely OK.

Although if chocolate is also a portion, does that make a chocolate orange two portions?? Wow I'm doing better than I thought!Grin

Honeydragon · 25/08/2010 21:34

Bounty bars are two / five as they are chocolate beans and coconut fruit.

My head is a happy place when I use this logic Smile

Think it's a glass and a half in every pound, isn't it?

Haven't been on here for a while and I am constantly distracted by Marco Pierre White suggesting I change my meat

Cola says it's made with vegetable extracts so that counts too. Prior to that i hadn't realised sugar cane was a vegetable. You live and learn.

diddl · 26/08/2010 14:17

Does it have to be 5 different fruit/veg?BlushGrin
