Has anybody ever made Nigella's Gammon in Coca-Cola?

I did today and it was yummy (though not mind blowingly so, despite her hype) and now I'm undecided as to whether to make the black bean soup with the stock. Seems a shame to waste it but I have a bit of a mental block about making soup out of Coca-Cola The stock does taste nice though.

I've made the gammon a couple of times but never made the soup with the stock.

I preferred the gammon the next day cold, it had a sort of deli ham taste about it.

I've done the gammon quite a bit as kids love it and grandparents think it proper food and sometimes do the soup - it's OK but not a great black bean soup - other versions I've made are better I think.

MY mum used to do it. And I did it without the recipe before. It was V nice. Don't know about the stock though, soz.

As an aside, why won't you come to xmas do?
