What is the sauce you get with crispy duck and pancakes from the chinese?

I couldn't think if it was hoi-sin or plum - or neither!

I got hoi-sin and am thinking its the wrong one!

I think it can be either but I'm leaning towards plum.

I think they are the same - I googled Hoi Sin and a product called GOLD Plum hoi Sin Sauce came up. Confused? I am!

Hoi sin is made from soya beans. 'Gold Plum' is a brand of Hoi Sin sauce.
