Steak in red wine cooked today to eat Friday evening. Fridge or freeze now?

It's cooling off now having slow cooked for ages.

Shall I freeze it or cover it and put it in the fridge? I am taking it with us Fri to reheat for dinner (camping).

I had planned to freeze it but am wondering if this is ott. Wish I'd waited and cooked it tomorrow but I do have lots to do tomorrow and didn't want to faff about.
