Kenyan/swahili green chicken curry?

We were at a party at the weekend, to which someone brought a fabulous chicken curry, apparently of Kenyan origin (the recipe - I'm presuming the production was more local!). It looked like joints of chicken in a thin coating sauce, looking a bit like a pesto or fine salsa verde, but with amore curry flavour. It was gorgeous, but the people who made it left before I could ask for the recipe. Anyone got any ideas what it might be?

No idea, but that sounds delicious so I may do a little judicious lurking.

My friend has a recipe for Swahili chicken but she is on holiday til next week. I'll ask her for it and post once I know. She said its delicious - I think it has fresh coconut in it - and is a universal favourite
