Can i make something out of the rubbishy soup i have just found in the freezer?

I have had a pot of watery, not great 'country vegetable soup' in the freezer for about 6months, decided to defrost it today and see if it is as crap as i remember - it is.

Can i use it as a base for a better soup? Or use it in my sausage casserole, or to make pasta sauce? Can i freeze it again after making it into something else?

Or should i just chuck it?

Can you use it as stock? Sounds like the sort of thing you could easily bung into a casserole to add a bit of flavour.

Using it as a base for better soup also sounds like an idea - just bung in some Marigold powder and potato and maybe some leeks or something, that might help?
