this looks nice but you'd have to translate it from American.

EnidfromtheVILLAGE · 23/08/2005 09:55

the one I do is tomatoey but soooooooo boring:

I wrap a chicken breast in foil with a bit of butter and poach it in oven for 25 mins. Then shred and mix with cooked pasta (al dente) and either home made tomato sauce or if pushed for time, half a bottle of Loyd Grossmans tomato and basil sauce mixed with a whizzed tin of tomatoes. Mix together, put in gratin dish, sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs and bake in oven for 20 mins until top is crusty and golden.

Not very sophisticated but my children and their mates love it.

popmum · 23/08/2005 14:02

bbc website - food section has loads of recipes. you can search for a recipe with the ingredients you have too.

Donbean · 23/08/2005 14:04

I did but there were hundreds of them and i could be bothered trawling through. The great thing about asking for recipes on here is that a few people will reply with my kind of recipes.....Chuck in a couple of tins of tomatoes, handful of this, spoonful of that. No weighing or measuring just sling it all in a pot. The easiest and tastiest recipes are from people on here.
