What can I do with a small amount of ricotta?

I have about half a tub left over from making spinach and ricotta pasties. I'd hate to waste it but I have no clue what to do with it.

Any ideas?

no idea how big your tub is, but you could make a summery pasta sauce with chopped (fresh, not tinned) tomatoes, basil, the ricotta, maybe a chili

cut open some chicken breasts and put the ricotta in it maybe with herbs or lemon zest or something?

I once made a tart with puff pastry topped with ricotta, figs and parma ham. yum

yes, I'd go pasta sauce, treat it as cream cheese

Could I just stir it through some pasta with some pesto? Or would that be minging?
