could any of you very clever cake people help me out??

my very best friend is getting married soon, and she would like, on top of her chocolate wedding cake, a hippo (or 2)

now, we've searched the internet but can only find cartoon hippos and she wants very realistic looking ones!!! so they will look like they're wallowing in the chocolate on the top of the cake

now I have a friend who makes the most fantastic sugarpaste things to go on cakes, and she was going to do one for me, but her family have just paid for her to go home to south africa (damn them!) so she can't do it

soooooooooooooo, the long and the short of it is i need a small hippo (or 2) and I wondered if any of you could help? and also how much it would cost??

I'm not good at sugarcraft but I do know you can buy plaster moulds of hippos and put sugarpaste in them and press them out really easily - it's actually idiotproof.

Was going to offer my services but tbh those ones that collision linked to from birthday express are brilliant & cheap and are the same ones she has linked to in WOW link

although, maybe friend wants to eat the hippos??

was going to say I have done elephants & then looked on my profile completely forgot the bloomin hippo I did for MIL

BUT Although sugarpaste models are edible they would be so hard she wouldn't actually be able to eat them iyswim

Really think those ones popping their head out of chocolate cake would be brilliant
