Can anyone tell me the amount of icing sugar and water I will need please? I never usually ice anything.

You are having quite a little bake-athon today aren't you? (I saw your thread on the rice-crispy cakes)
Re icing, I normally just put 4/5 tablespoons of icing sugar into a bowl and gradually add water and stir until it gets to the right consistancy. I have never measured it out though

Good luck

Yes I am, for the kids to take into school as they are not having a party.

I see, well hope it goes well and the cakes all taste good

This morning, I iced 20 cupcakes, I used 2 cups of icing sugar.

I did mix it with half a tub of cream cheese and a bit of food colouring.

I think add the water bit by bit, you could even use a bit less icing sugar, as I iced the cupcakes generously and still have a fridgefull of icing!!
