Am I about to poison my children? <Paranoid Emotican>

Have bought a slow cooker and so am now trying to justify expense!

Yesterday, cooked a chicken in it, made stock overnight, made soup for lunch....

So far, so smug.

BUT...with leftover chicken, have made a pie, rolled out pastry and popped on top. Sat back then realised pastry would probably go soggy in between now and 5pm so have started cooking it, to reheat tonight.

Have now realised that that means I'll be reheating, reheated meat IYSWIM. I am prepared to die risk it, but worried about the (little) children.

What do I do?

Answer: Return to frozen prepackaged food!

No you won't kill them, as long as chicken pie is heated/cooked throughly.

I do it all the time with left over chicken/beef.

If you reheat to the proepr temperature you will kill any bacteria and not get food poisoning

It'll be fine

Just make sure it's red hot all the way through

Excellent! 3 people to blame when I kill everyone

Thanks v much...will find something else to be paranoid about now...will probably be back tomorrow with worries about bolognese sauce done in slow cooker.
