I think it is a place to vent if you feel a bit upset and hard done by. Or decide to take a break from mumsnet and just say bye for now, see you in a week or so, to people you chat to regularly.

There has been instances around here where some poster who have gone through some real life shite has taken a break and others have worried if something bad had happened to them.
