so byeee!

Thanks to everyone who has helped over the years. I am just seeing to find more and more closed minds on MN, it's getting a bit like listening to Jeremy Vine of an afternoon..

And MB, I am humbled that you shoudl waste your precious time coming on here to say such nice things when alls is that I'm feeling sorry for myself

Can I just say that you HAVE to stay because if you go then the ratio of nitwits to sensible people will be further diluted and please then I will have to leave and just please don't go.

Monkeytrousers · 18/10/2008 20:29

nitwits

good word

southeastastra · 18/10/2008 20:31

Carmenere · 18/10/2008 20:31

Yes I was quite pleased with that they bloody are though

beansontoast · 18/10/2008 20:35

no frills attempt to flatter monkeytrews into deflouncing

i have a friend in rl who is teh biggest lurker ever ....and she really rates you.

umberella · 18/10/2008 20:36

have you changed your mind yet?

Monkeytrousers · 18/10/2008 20:43

oh-er Beany!

I might just hang around here, save it and every time I feel like flouncing have a read. I think it would hel o if I stopped myself from posting on the ABBU board.

BTW has anyone heard who the f|ck is going to costa rica? Is it Custy and* Cod?

OP posts:
southeastastra · 18/10/2008 20:51

what thread peed you off?

S1ur · 18/10/2008 20:51

heh Custy and Cod - that'd be a fab thelma and louise road trip. I think we should make that happen and then broadcast it live

Monkeytrousers · 18/10/2008 20:57

No thread really today, it has been a long, slow lowering of emnpathic srtandards I think the bigger MN gets. And that's natural I suppose. I just really liked it when it was just a few thousand and yoiu always knew a few people on each thread. Now I haven't a clue who I'm talking to and if I post something I think is a bit cheeky but its alright, people will know I'm joking, I get very seriosu people asking me to qualify or explain and I just can;'t be arsed to talk to the joyless nitwits as it takes the fun out of it.

That and I am adjusting to singlemumhood. Might have more to do with it

Oh and BTW SEA, I was just reading that bit in Tess where they are walking out at sunrise - it's not a dream, just an ethereal moment

OP posts:
Monkeytrousers · 18/10/2008 20:59

Has Cod flounced as annoiuced on MP's thingy?

OP posts:
S1ur · 18/10/2008 21:00

MT yup, bit of rl/mn collision

Monkeytrousers · 18/10/2008 21:02

Where can I read it?

OP posts:
Soprana · 18/10/2008 21:03

throes

Monkeytrousers · 18/10/2008 21:04

um

yes you are right

can you throw a throe, as in a tantrum?

OP posts:
Soprana · 18/10/2008 21:14

sorry, had a pedantic fit. don't know what came over me...

S1ur · 18/10/2008 21:14

viola

Flum · 18/10/2008 21:15

But surely there were bigots and people who did not understand Key stage 3 grammar before 2006.

S1ur · 18/10/2008 21:16

or indeed voila

Soprana · 18/10/2008 21:17

I prefer viola. Sorry, I've had two glasses of wine. Hic. Can you tell?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 18/10/2008 21:18

aww MT

Singlemumhood?

S1ur · 18/10/2008 21:19

viola fits quite well, true.

This thread does get a little weepy and wailey

twentynine · 18/10/2008 21:35

I have mock flounced. I'm a quite well known regular under a new name till the silliness blows over.
