Suggest some plants to me

i’m currently upgrading from a 34l to a 120l Tank and I’ve finally got my hardscape sorted, can I get suggestions for plants please?

Unfortunately, I had to use AI to remove the glass reflections so it’s not showing it too well, but there is a valley between the two areas of rock/wood that I want to keep sandy.

I am looking for low-tech plants because although I use fertiliser and carbon, I don’t have CO2 injection and I don’t intend on getting it.

I don’t like floating plants because they took over my last aquarium, even clearing them regularly.

I have a Anubias I’m planning on moving over (if I can kill all the black beard algae on it) that I will probably wedge In on the left-hand side of the big twisted piece.

There will be an air stone in the back left.

Hi, your tank looks great. What fish are you planning to keep, as this may affect planting? I have goldfish and they like to eat everything. I have had great luck with vallisneria, it has spread into a sort of forest and I don't do anything to it. Anubias are also good. I've also heard java ferns are quite low maintenance, but haven't tried these myself. Good luck!

I have low tech plants with no extra co2. I have 3 tanks with a 2" commercial organic pond aquasoil base capped with 1" of black sand. I have a mixture of Amazon swords, hygrophilia, crypts and water wisteria planted in the substrate, java fern and anubias nana attached to rocks and, in 1 tank a hawthorn branch.
I have very hard water and pH is 8 in 2 tanks and 7.6 in the other 2.
I've had no luck with jungle Val, combomba or limnophila...

Amazon swords are good because they give hight, java ferns have babies that you can pull off of the leaves and plant/stick wherever you want, they're very cost effective.

Red tiger lotus are very different, they grow from a bulb. They're happy in 2 of my tanks, one 7.6 and 1 at pH 8.
