I won a giant aquarium in a raffle

Not exactly a beginner but my first tank was only 37L

I've been lucky enough to win a Fluval Roma 240 in a raffle. The problem is I simply don't have the space!

I have been offered £500 as an alternative but the options this gives me are a bit overwhelming.

I was potentially thinking the Fluval Roma 90. This would allow me to use the money left over to build the tank - even more so if i buy second hand.

However i've seen some comments that the filter takes up a lot of space ( and theres not really any decent pics online).

For stock I am potentially looking at shrimp, a nerite, 12 or so green rasbora and a betta, and it will be heavily planted with live plants. Could i fit a bristlenose pleco in too, or is that overload?

Probably look to add a bubbler too.

Is there any other tank I should be considering?

No one seems to have answered and I don't know a lot about the fish or tank you're looking at. I find my 125l community much easier to care for than my 23l shrimp tank and 50l frog tank. It's so much more stable and doesn't heat up as quickly in the got weather. Have you tried inputting everything into aqadvisor.com? It's not perfect but I find it very useful. The type is tiny, but if you squint or stretch the screen you can fill in boxes for the tank you have and pick the filter(s). You then add the fish using the search bar and it'll tell you how stocked the tank is, if you're over or under filtering, what sort of water changes etc. best of all it suggests an ideal temp for the fish you select, if any won't get on and will suggest group sizes for shoaling/schooling breeds.
Have fun what ever you decided.
