So has the title says..
We had managed to get around 19 baby fish from some platys we had recently bought,all the shop bought ones died and we now just have our own fish-they are about 8mths.
The tank is 120l heavily planted so plenty of hiding places.
A few of the platy fry have died but what's bugging me is why no new babies? Is the issue with these fish?(shop bought fish reproduced )
We started fish keeping in lockdown and now have two tanks,the other has barbs,these are several years old so we can keep some alive..however we do seem to lose a lot of fish...is this normal?
One minute they are fine,the next struggling and then dead! I hate that part of fishkeeping and wonder if we are doing it all wrong?
Yes we have testing kits(liquid)
Change the water regularly and don't change the media etc etc
