How to give away fish

We have a pond in the garden that had goldfish in it when we moved here. We gave the fish to a neighbour who put them in their pond. Only clearly we missed some and now we have more fish than we had to start with. What's the best way to find more takers? We wanted a wildlife pond, now we do have newts and toads but also over 24 randy goldfish and the pond isn't that big! We are rural so not many neighbours to offer to, and I'd like to do well by the fish.

Facebook free sites.

i made a post that the goldfish were wanting good homes in new ponds (not suitable for tanks) and had every fish collected within a couple of hours.

Can the neighbour not take them ?
My DF emptied his pond and gave them to a relative who lived 30 minutes away. They all died, so I’d suggest you don’t move them far.

We can't manage the maintenance of our pond any more, so we have lots of goldfish free to re-home. They're ready to collect but bring your own container. (eg plastic box with lid) We live in Emsworth. Please contact if you would like some (or all). 07902 447 662
