Is my plec gravid or ill?

I’ve got two plecs in my tank, one of each I think, and they usually avoid each other but recently have been hanging out together. Had them for a couple of years now without any problems and suddenly noticed that the smaller of the two has a swollen midriff and is also breathing more rapidly. I initially assumed she was gravid, but I just wanted to check if anyone has experience of this, would hate to think it was ill and I was assuming it was full of eggs.

Yeah looks gravid to me but I'm no expert!

Thanks @mooseinthehoos, she’s in hiding now so fingers crossed, although it wouldn’t be surprised if any eggs are eaten by the shrimp!
