Where is my plec??

Hi all

I'm very new to this...

We have recently bought a 60l tank for our living room. Set it all up etc and now have some minnows, a couple of shrimp and a plec. Except we haven't seen the plec for 2 days. Is it likely to be hiding in an ornament?? If it has died wouldn't it have floated? I'm worried it's died and will cause an issue with the water in the tank but don't know if I should be messing about in there while the fish are in it trying to find it. Any help please??

They hide and are nocturnal. Only used to see ours when cleaning the tank

I have 3 Plecos. None of them are algae-eaters so wouldn't be caught dead on the side of the glass and they're all under 6" long. In the 7 years I've had them I've only seen them out in the open a handful of times haha!
