Got a wee 55l tropical tank and noticed 5 or 6 horrible little flat headed white worms wriggling on the glass today!! They all seemed to have came out to eat a rummy nose that had died. Any idea what they are?? Are they a risk to the other fish??

Meant to say they are tiny, biggest one maybe half a cm

Not sure but would recommend removing the dead rummy before it creates ammonia in the tank

That could be Planaria. Don't usually look quite that chunky, but always reside in tanks in small quantities. They multiply and go nuts if there's excess biological waste in the tank - in your case a dead fish. A few decent partial water changes and a good gravel vac and they'll be gone.
