'Dusty' water

The water in my tank looks 'dusty' if you know what I mean. What can I do about it?

What sort of fish do you keep ? Probably needs a water change and filter clean.

They are tropical. I did quite a big water change yesterday as I have new fish, and I'm almost wondering whether that is what has caused it.

If you've done a water change you will have stirred up the substrate and caused that extra bit of detritus in the water column. It should settle. If it doesn't, you might want to have another look at your filter system and see if it's clogged or needs an upgrade.
