Do your fish beg?

Every morning my goldfish always swim to the front of the glass at the top begging for food. They will do this 3-4times a day and always sink again when fed. I don't feed them every time they beg btw

They defo know that when someone is near the tank there is a good chance that they will get fed.

My cat sits on top of the tank because its warm and he dangles his tail down the front of it and the fish kind of chase it...

Yep. They would get all 'excited' (for want of a better word). When they saw me anywhere near their tank.

Yep, but he's a siamese and they are smart little things. He knows my voice and is straight to the top for a treat. He's fabulous, he hand feeds and comes for a stroke.
