Rehoming fish

After 8 years i no longer have the time to look after my last remaining goldfish and have been desperately trying to rehome him before i move house. Nobody is interested in taking him on, even with a free tank and accessories Sad
I dont believe in euthanising healthy fish and im at a loss of what to do now. Any ideas?

Ask a pet shop if they will take it?

PeppaWellington · 11/07/2015 21:35

Release him into the wild. Like Free Willy.

Bertie The petshop tanks round here are filthy. I couldnt let them put him in filthy water.
Peppa Im not irresponsible....Hmm

Releasing him into the wild is not only irresponsible, it's illegal, and people have been prosecuted.

Have you tried Facebook? There are fish rehoming groups on there.

Is it a fancy or a common? If common then try your local council to see if there are any suitable ponds he can go into.

Good luck :)
